How to play as a tank in single player in Left 4 Dead

Practicing as a tank with bots in single player Left 4 Dead can not only improve your tank controls, but also, will improve your skills of using a tank. As I mentioned on my previous post, a tank can be highly destructive if used properly and the only way to know that you're using a tank properly is by praticing with bots. If you are able to incap all the bots without dying then you're good to go, but if you're having a tough time incapping only one of the survivors then I suggest you start praticing.

How to play as a tank in Left 4 Dead in Single Player:

1. Start Left 4 Dead
2. Make sure console is enabled
3. Type in mp_gamemode versus; map (map here)
4. Press M and select the infected team
5. Open console and type in sv_cheats 1
6. Wait for the bots to go to a common tank spawn
   
7. Now spawn a tank using z_spawn tank
8. Pratice
